Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette (January 31, 1937 from 1937 to January 19, 2008) was an American theatre, film TV, and voice actress. Pleshette started her stage career and appeared in films in late 1950s. Then, she became a prominent actor in movies like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (11). From 1972 to 1978 Pleshette was a frequent guest on various television productions. She also appeared in Emily Hartley, which earned her numerous Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan),[1 and Eugene Pleshette, was born on the 31st of January 1937 in Brooklyn Heights. The parents of her were Jewish, the descendants of emigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary.Her mother was an artist and dancer who performed on stage under the name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was a stage manager at the Paramount Theater in Manhattan and the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
